Ukraine claims that several Russian “kamikaze drones” attacked Kiev.

According to the administration of the President of Ukraine, Kiev registered several explosions on Monday after an attack by Russian kamikaze planes.

“Explosions in Kyiv. The capital was attacked by kamikaze drones,” said Andriy Yermak, the head of the administration of the President of Ukraine, on his Telegram account.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko also announced on his Telegram account that two explosions were reported in the Shevchenkov district in the center of the capital. Klitschko assured that it was a drone attack that caused the fire in a non-residential building.

Firefighters, as well as medical and emergency teams are already working on the spot. According to the Mayor of Kyiv, several residential buildings have been damaged.

The head of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office has argued that Ukraine needs “more air defense” to deal with Russian kamikaze drone attacks with explosive charges. A strategy that, according to Ukraine, “will help Russia in its agony”.

Last week, especially on October 10 and 11, Russian troops massively attacked various regions of Ukraine. In this bombing, Russia used various types of kamikaze missiles and drones.

Kiev was also attacked, because there were two strikes in the Shevchenkovsky district. Six people died as a result of the bombing.
