Another fighter from Sakartvel, who fought in the ranks of the defense forces, was killed in Ukraine.
According to the “Eurointegration” portal, the commander of the Kartveli Legion, Mamuka Mamulašvilis, announced this on social networks.
According to the information received, Zacharija Subitidze, who headed the department, was killed. According to Mr. Mamulashvilis, this fighter was “one of the best” in the legion. The circumstances of Z. Subitidze’s death are still unknown.
The Kartveli Legion was founded in 2014, after the start of Russian aggression in Donbass, and already in 2016 it officially became part of the Ukrainian armed forces.
