Russia is “seriously preparing” for a counterattack by the Ukrainian armed forces. He has already planned a new special psychological information operation aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian army and spreading false information about the actions of Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield.
This was reported by the rbc.ua portal on Monday, citing the Strategic Communication Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“There are plans to spread false information about the combat actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian Telegram channels and social networks. Also on its own formations,” the report said.
In order to demoralize Ukrainians and mislead the public, as well as the Russian population, Kremlin propagandists will spread false information about the counterattack of the Ukrainian armed forces, its direction and the losses of the Ukrainian army. This can be done even when there is no counterattack.
“For this purpose, old videos and photos showing dented machines, dead people and prisoners have been prepared. Other liars are also prepared,” added the representatives of the Strategic Communication Center.
According to them, part of this special information-psychological operation could consist of Russian reports of a “large-scale attack” by Ukrainian armed forces on five front lines. The Russian Defense Ministry says it started on June 4.
