Russian forces shelled the Kherson area 28 times over the past day, firing 176 shells. Two people were injured.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the military administration of the Kherson region, reported this on the Telegram channel on Monday, according to Ukrinform.
“During the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 28 bombardments, 176 shells were fired from mortars, artillery, Grad systems, drones and aircraft,” the report said.
As noted by O. Prokudin, the Russian army targeted the residential areas of the settlements, the territory and buildings of the factory and the utility company of the Beryslav district.
Two people were injured as a result of the attackers’ actions.
O. Prokudin added that 50 people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the Kherson region.
