Several thousand Russian soldiers are currently stationed in Belarus, the representative of the border service of Ukraine reported.

“The situation on the border with Russia has not changed either. Unfortunately, the enemies continue to shell the Ukrainian border daily. Over the past 24 hours, our border units have registered more than 20 strikes in the Chernihiv regions , Sumy and Kharkiv. More than 500 such strikes have been carried out since the beginning of the month. In April, there were slightly fewer, about 450. The enemies use artillery, mortars and aviation to bombard the territory of Ukraine. Most of the attacks were carried out in the Sumy region”, added A. Demchenko.
The official also said that last night border guards recorded the use of Shahed drones by Russians.
The Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that last night the Russian army attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 combat drones from the north, in the Bryansk region, and from the south , in the Krasnodar region. A total of 54 suicide drones were launched. The Ukrainian army destroyed 52 drones.
