On Friday night in Kiev, a drunken judge knocked down a soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine at a checkpoint, who was trying to arrest a curfew violator, reports the portal “rbc.ua”.
The 23-year-old soldier died immediately from his injuries and the culprit in the crash refused to submit to a drink test, saying he had health issues. Now, researchers are working to force the collection of biological samples.
It is reported that a bottle of alcohol was found in the Lexus ES 350 car of the judge of the Makarivka district court of Kyiv region Oleksiy Tandyr.
Representatives of the National Guard said the dead soldier was raising three children, his father was fighting in the Donbass, defending the country against Russian invaders.
