On Friday, a Russian missile hit a medical facility in the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine. It is reported that one person was killed, and according to the latest data, there are 16 injured, including children.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also informed the Dnipro hospital about the Russian attack.
“Rocket attack against a clinic in the city of Dnipro. At the moment, one person is dead, 15 are injured,” V. Zelenskiy’s statement on social media reads. The Ukrainian president also posted a video showing smoke billowing from buildings through rooftops torn out and broken windows.
V. Zelenskis said rescuers are working at the scene, cleaning up the wreckage and rescuing the victims. According to the Ukrainian president, with the attack on the medical establishment, “Russian terrorists confirm once again (…) that they are fighting against everything that is human”.
Local media released a video showing rescuers helping people with bloody faces through debris-covered hallways to escape from the clinic.
Earlier, the head of the regional military administration, Serhijus Lysak, wrote on the Telegram channel that the Dnipropetrovsk region suffered “a large-scale attack by missiles and drones” at night. According to him, a house caught fire during the night bombardment of the city of Dnipro, and two others were damaged.
