US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Thursday hailed Germany’s increased military aid to Ukraine during an online meeting of an international group coordinating the supply of weapons to the warring country. .
“Germany promised to provide Ukraine with more Leopard tanks, ammunition, combat drones and other equipment, all worth almost 3 billion dollars. In addition to tanks and armored vehicles, the set also includes 18 wheeled howitzers, artillery ammunition, guided missiles for air defense systems and 12 IRIS-T SLS launchers.
