Russia and China have accused the United States of “undermining” global security, according to a statement signed Tuesday by President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“The two countries call on the United States to stop undermining international and regional security and global strategic stability to ensure its unilateral military advantage,” the Russian-Chinese statement said.
Russia and China have also expressed “concern” over NATO’s growing involvement in Asia. The statement said the two countries are “deeply concerned” about NATO’s growing military and security ties with countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Russia and China agree that a nuclear war must “never” take place, according to a statement signed Tuesday by President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
“There can be no winners in a nuclear war and it must never be started,” the statement read.
