The migrant managed to enter Melilla by paraglider to scale the six-metre-high border fence that separates Spain from Morocco in the autonomous city.
The events took place on Thursday afternoon at around 18:15 when two citizens who were in line witnessed the migrant entering, according to sources in the government delegation in Melilla.
Two witnesses reported the Melilla Civil Guard Command Service Operations Center (COS). As is known, the entrance was given in the vicinity of the Nano river.
Civil Guard patrols immediately arrived in the area, but did not find the migrant. His nationality is unknown.
Paragliding is a new mode used to enter Melilla and avoid the border perimeter, which consists of two six-meter-high fences.
