SINTS women’s defender Ella Morris scored as England Under-23s drew 1-1 with Spain at St George’s Park.
The 21-year-old gave the Lionesses the lead in the 30th minute when she was released by Brighton & Hove Albion’s Katie Robinson and then fired the ball into the far corner.
Lucia Kendall, another Saints player, came on as a substitute for Emma Coates’ side in the 74th minute as they looked to wrap up the match.
But they were back in the match just five minutes before Paula Arana Montes headed in a header past Everton’s Emily Ramsey in the England goal.
Kendall almost scored the winning goal, but her superb breakaway attempt was saved by the Spanish goalkeeper.

Morris and Kendall now return to the south coast to prepare for Sunday’s exciting FA Cup third round tie against Portsmouth at Westley Park.
