The SINTS Foundation’s Share the Joy competition is running for the second time at Christmas and offers the chance to win hospitality, tickets and memorabilia.
Southampton FC’s charity is raising money this Christmas to help reduce loneliness among the city’s older residents.
Fans could win one of 16 exclusive Saints prizes by entering a raffle, including a 10-man box for the Boxing Day match against Swansea City, a ball signed by the Class of 1999 legends, a box of signed player boxed equipment and more other. .
The Share the Joy campaign aims to ensure that the most vulnerable people in Southampton get the support they need this winter. This year the appeal is aimed at older people.
Older people are likely to be disproportionately affected by the rising cost of living, while around 35% of over 60s in Southampton will be left without money after paying bills.
This year’s Share the Joy features Gordon, an 84-year-old man from Bitterne who has lived alone since losing his wife five years ago.
Since joining the Saints Foundation’s Elder Saints project last year, his physical and mental health have changed.
For £5 ticket price, you can take an elderly saint like Gordon on three health walks led by a Saints Foundation instructor.
