Dozens of people are still protesting in front of Ferraz and blocking traffic led by Esperanza Aguirre

Dozens of people demonstrated again this Saturday in front of the PSOE national headquarters on Calle Ferraz in Madrid to protest the agreement between the Socialists and the ERC and the upcoming amnesty law for the inauguration of Pedro Sánchez. Among the protesters was the popular former president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, who called on those present to stop traffic in the streets.

“I would stop moving,” Aguirre says before pulling off the road, gesturing in support, as seen in several videos on social media.

The protest comes after 800 people – according to police sources – went to the same place to show their rejection of the amnesty by shouting “freedom”, “Pedro Sánchez, you are a traitor” or “long live Franco”. One person was arrested on charges of disobedience during Friday’s rally.
