Friday is getting off to a rainy start in much of Spain, with uncertainty, in many cases, about how political parties will close their election campaign – tonight – amid bad weather. The new DANA will, among others, be more visible in Madrid, Cáceres and western Castilla-La Mancha, after another storm already caused Murcia, Almeria and Alicante earlier this week.
The end of the campaign, in any case, is marked by scandals of attempts to steal votes in Spanish cities, which is unusual in the country. To date, elDiario.es has recorded at least ten cases in which it is investigating possible electoral fraud, and two more that “merely” remained a joke. The cross-party accusations have been repeated incessantly in recent hours, but it appears the fraudulent behavior is happening on the left and right of the political spectrum.
