The national leadership of the PP decided to change the logo of the formation, strengthen the white and blue colors of the image, and changed the name of the party on social networks, replacing “Popular” with its full name. Formation.
This can already be seen on the official profile of the party on Twitter, where the formation under the chairmanship of Alberto Núñez Feijoo has updated its name and eliminated the “Populars” that were in the previous address of Pablo Casado and replaced them with “@. popular”
Meanwhile, on social networks like Instagram or Tiktok, Feijóo chose a more recognizable nomenclature like ‘@partidopopular’.
The change follows the arrival of Alberto Núñez Feijo in Genoa a few months ago, following an internal crisis in the party caused by an open war between the previous national leadership and the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
PP premiered the previous logo in January 2019 at the Pablo Casado National Convention. So, it was decided to highlight the word “popular” with a seagull simulating a heart in the colors of the Spanish flag.
