The PSOE has announced that it will demand an investigation into the case in the Senate Angel MunozPP senator and mayor of Marbella, following reports by elDiario.es about his property and a case in which several relatives are being investigated for ties to the Swedish mafia. The Socialists put a magnifying glass on the rise of Muñoz’s assets: “We ask them to give an explanation, there might be a conflict of interest,” said Eva Granados, spokeswoman for the PSOE, in order to convene the incompatibility commission.
“From the PSOE, we intend to promote a parliamentary investigation into the facts and lies of PP Senator Ángeles Muñoz, and we are also going to urge Mr. Feijo to act in light of the facts that are becoming known. We come from the register, we registered the document,” explained PSOE spokesperson in the upper house, Eva Granados.
“What we do know is that the senator lied to the camera and he lied to the public. We are reading journalistic information that is extremely serious,” he added on the information published by this newspaper, condemning the “passivity” of the PP and its leader, Alberto Nunez Feijoo.

A Marbella police agent explained to the judge in the case that Mayor Muñoz had ordered him to provide confidential information to his stepmother, as revealed by elDiario.es on Thursday.
