Spain can still be proud of its health care system. In the OECD x-ray of health systems, Spain stands out for several reasons: it has one of the best prevention systems and a high degree of trust, which can be seen, for example, in the number of people who are vaccinated against the flu and above average access to health care. Although it is one of those with the least investment per capita, the report, as of 2020, highlights that Spain’s healthcare system is more efficient than others.
