Rumor has it that Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan will be the next James Bond.
Unfortunately for fans, the Hollywood hunk said he doesn’t expect it to be him, reports Buzz.ie.
The 40-year-old told the Radio Times: “Obviously it’s nice to be part of these conversations. When you’re an actor of a certain age and you’re coming off a good year, it’s inevitable.”
“They will probably replace Daniel with someone who has never been on any of those lists.”
Speaking to Esquire earlier this year, the 39-year-old previously said: “It’s nice and cool to be a part of something like this.
“I think it’s very transparent, if you look at that list, there’s not a person on that list that doesn’t have content that’s doing well right now.”
People are also betting that Dornan would be the next Bond. Jamie added: “On those lists, family members, family friends, friends of mine … lots of strangers, lots of different people over the years have said, ‘Oh, I’ll bet you 40 to one’.”
“I think lately the way people actually bet has been eight-to-one or whatever. It’s really that stupid.”
