Hollyoaks star Sophie Austin was first discovered after dating Shane Rose.

The actress who played Lindsey Butterfield (the killer with the same gloves) on the Channel 4 soap opera revealed earlier this month that she and X Factor star Shane’s family had expanded.

The 38-year-old was first pictured in a newborn Joypack for a walk in Manchester with a friend.

The arrival of a couple of soap opera boys surprised both Sophie and Shine, parents of their daughter Willow, as it was previously said that they were expecting a girl.

Sharing the good news, singer Shane posted on Instagram on June 16. He then admitted that it was “shock” that Sophie gave birth to a boy, but that they were “happy”.

He writes:

Revealing that her eldest son was born on Saturday, June 11, a former Coronation Street star continued:

“A beautiful boy, not the girl we expected.

“I am very pleased that Sir Little Rose has arrived,” he added.

With a sweet message, Shane shared a beautiful photo of a family of four holding hands over the newborn.

Coronation Street star Julia Golding played Shona Ramsey, and the pair were filled with congratulatory messages from friends, fans and family.

“Congratulations, how wonderful. I send you lots of love.”
