Laura Anderson has no time for the Bump Police.
The 33-year-old 2018 Love Island star confirmed last month that she is expecting her first child with ex Gary Lucy.
Laura met the Footballers Wives actor, 41, on Celebs Go Dating last year, but they have since confirmed they have split but plan to co-parent once their baby arrives.
And while Laura loved documenting her pregnancy online, she had had enough of people telling her to keep her bloated belly down.
The mum-to-be soaked up the sun in the Maldives and shared a series of glowing snaps against a dreamy sunset, hugging her belly.
However, she expected some trolling when she started “Cue the Bump Police ????” in her caption.
Laura continued to her 1.5 million Instagram followers: “To the people who have a weird negative connotation when women weigh their baby bumps: Unfortunately in the next 5 months I will grow a human inside and most likely don’t know where to go. somewhere else. put my hands in a picture ????’
She then urged anyone in “serious distress or discomfort” to “get professional help” or “just get a life.”
Laura continued her rant: “It’s quite disturbing how many trolls a pregnant woman gets these days just to breathe.
“I’m not sure people realize how much stress they can cause for BOTH parties.”
She got cryptic about her recent breakup, writing: “I know I felt it, especially when I went through a worrisome breakup that no one knows the truth about.
“So let’s step back and give moms the peace and respect they deserve to focus on the physical and mental well-being of themselves and their unborn bundle of joy✌????”
The influencer received a lot of encouragement in the comments.
“I think you look amazing and one of my biggest regrets was not taking pictures of me rocking my belly.
“Don’t let it get you down enjoy your pregnancy and keep taking care of your belly ❤️ you are too nice @lauraanderson1x you need to tell your truth let people know what you are dealing with xx,” said another.
“Stamp police ???????? you look amazing xxx,” praised another.
Laura’s post comes after she admitted she was “definitely” not on good terms with father-to-be Gary.
Laura originally included Gary’s Instagram tag in her pregnancy announcement, but later removed it and has since publicly denied they split because she asked him to move to Scotland.
Gary has four children with ex-wife Natasha Gray, the family lives in Essex, and Laura has now confirmed that she and Natasha have spoken out about her child being part of the blended family and embracing her half-siblings.
The pregnant reality star then opened up about her past relationship with fans in an Instagram Q&A, and when asked if there was any chance of reconciling with Gary now that they’re about to become parents together, she had a firm one said “No”.
And did they have a good relationship? ‘Absolutely not.’
Laura almost broke down in tears when a fan asked her how she was doing, admitting it had been “a very stressful few months but the only way is up”.
