The awkward conversation that North West was probably dreading (like the rest of us) finally happened when Kim Kardashian told her oldest daughter about the night of her conception.
The mother-of-four – who shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with ex Kanye West – opened up about a trip to Paris for fashion week.
The mother-daughter duo visited Oliver Rousteing in Paris, who asked Kim to explain the designer’s role in North’s conception.
Speaking to her nine-year-old in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim said: “Northie, I’ve known Olivier since you were a baby.
“And he gave papa this blue dress that papa wanted for me.
“It was my birthday a year before you were born and I wore the dress and I got pregnant and the night I wore the dress you came in my belly.
“So Olivier might have something to do with why you’re on this planet.”
North was too busy enjoying her fries to react when the clip surfaced of a photo of Kanye and Kim from that night in October 2012.
Around that time, Kim and the rest of her famous family were still filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and while North has yet to see the show, despite being surrounded by it her whole life, Kim previously revealed that her daughter mocked moments from the film by showing clips she saw on TikTok.
A viral moment when the family took a trip to Bora Bora saw Kim break down in tears over losing a diamond earring in the water, prompting her older sister Kourtney Kardashian to say the memorable line: “Kim, there are people who die.’
She sees it’s a popular TikTok where they do the Bora Bora wine scene. Almost all my wine scenes,” Kim said last year while filming the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“So she sees the stuff and she comes in and she’s like, ‘Mom, I lost my earring,’ and she likes to do it as a joke and I’m like, ‘You have no idea what this is not.’
Scott Disick, who has three children with Kourtney, wondered when would be the best time to introduce KUWTK to the younger generation of the family.
“I just think they’re going to look at it at some point because it’s our life,” he said.
“At what point do we sit them down and say, ‘You have to go through these seasons and see what Mom and Dad have been doing all these years.’
Kim also told Scott she didn’t feel ready to tell her four children about her marriage to former basketball pro Kris Humphries, to whom she was married for 72 days.
“I don’t really want to explain who Kris Humphries is,” she admitted.
