It is common for women, who are more open to talking about their experiences, to share their open and often painful stories on television. However, this Thursday, on the LNK show “I kiss you, Rūta”, only well-known men in Lithuania will share their personal dramas.
One of them is Dainius Martinaitis, a well-known television and event host who has now disappeared from the public eye, whose life was full of ups and downs. Now it’s open – you won’t see it on TV anymore, because you don’t want to go anywhere, and it’s not like you’re always there and you’ll be needed, the press release says.
“Well, I stopped broadcasting for about 6-8 years, and that’s it, people forget, the next generation grows up. Everybody on the street don’t turn around anymore, everybody don’t say hello, but I can say that with it comes peace, which I appreciate very much, ”says D. Martinaitis frankly.
However, the life of the legendary “VRS Kameras” presenter had it all – both times when you were completely unemployed and days when you were invited everywhere. “When the weekend is your main job, well, maybe a Sunday is free, but after three days of running, when you come home, you don’t even have the strength to look at your other half”, confesses the man in the LNK program “Bučioju, Rūta”.
He does not hide that such a life also led to the collapse of relations. The marriage to his wife ended after 18 years together. True, the divorce did not happen overnight – the couple tried more than once to talk, adjust and save the relationship. However, as Dainius says, in order to be able to save the marriage, one would have to change one’s life drastically.
“It always seemed like it would last, it wouldn’t fall apart, but it ended like this. I think if the second half of every famous person was going to speak, then it’s probably all on their shoulders,” says D. Martinaitis.
When Rūta Mikelkevičiūtė, the show’s host, asked him if he regretted the broken marriage, the famous man admitted that although he and his wife have no other partners at the moment, they do not spit not in the well that maybe one day new people appear in their lives. “Once upon a time, ten years after the divorce, we agreed that we could have tried harder, but now we have turned new leaves,” Dainius Martinaitis candidly says.
Gediminas Nadtočis-Natas, a participant of the reality show “Dangus” who returned from emigration abroad, will also share his open story, admitting that one day playing in front of 10,000 people and the next day loading boxes in a warehouse in Denmark was really not an easy ordeal that required a lot of emotions.
It was not easy for journalist Martas Kalendras, well known to LNK TV viewers, whose voice was once known to almost everyone. There was therefore no lack of surprise when the news of his emigration to Australia, working as a dishwasher, appeared in the public. .
Also – “Kelias í živjeztes” singer Mindaugas Mickevičius-Mino will be candid about whether his singing career has ruined his personal life, and renowned journalist and producer Edvardas Žičkus will reveal the invisible sides of world-class stars .
