The new board of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil terminal operator KN (AB Klaipėdos Nafta) will begin its four-year term on Monday.
It will be composed of four independent members – energy, finance and management professionals: Edvinas Katilius, Jūratė Lingienė, Guy Mason and Alfonso Morriello. They will also be joined by a member of the Board delegated by the shareholder, the Ministry of Energy.
Mantas Bartuška, Dainius Bražiūnas, member of the council delegated by the ministry, and Giedrius Dusevičius, independent member of the council and acting as chairman of the council, have been working on the council of the KN since the beginning of its activities. . In order to ensure the continuity of its activities, the Board also has independent members appointed to replace the former members who resigned: Guy Mason (as of December 1, 2021), replacing Ian Bradshaw, and Edwin Katil as of February 2. 2022. d.), replacing Bjarke Palsson.
According to CN’s Articles of Association, CN’s Management Board is composed of 5 members, including the Chairman of the Management Board, of which at least 3 members must be independent. The members of the Management Board are elected by the Supervisory Board for 4 years.
